I'd love to punch one in the snout
Instead of a "rest" day we decided to do part of today's stage and complete tomorrow's stage in the morning. We arrived at our albergue at around 2:30 and after a snooze, shower and a beer we felt good. We met a Dutch couple Gerhart & Josie and chatted for almost an hour. He was was a Buddist. Interesting guy.
The walk was relatively short & not too demanding; no hill; a compromise rest day. Tomorrow we will complete this stage & tomorrow's stage as well. Probably around 28k. Hopefully we can get this one done. This evening we had the usual pilgrims meal of soup, Spanish omlette, and dessert (yogurt)? Dinner was wonderful and the company was delightful.
