Najera to Santos Domingo
In a tapas bar last night
I got a bit of a fright
I ordered two beer
Saw one disappear
With that Spaniard I nearly did fight (not)
So, there we were; Fran & me, sitting in a tapas bar enjoying a well deserved beer& tapas. Fran was a little more thirsty than I so I got a bit behind and found myself with two beers in front of me. A group of Spaniards came in and ordered drinks. During their animated conversation the guy next to me drank my extra beer. After many apologies the "crack" between us was great. It was a great evening.
Today was supposed to be an easy day only 21k but there were a couple of steep climbs that made it harder than expected. We had a great breakfast in Circueña and managed to complete the rest of the stage without too much trouble ... it just felt long! Any answers to that riddle?
Watched some cyclists push their bicycles up hills: looks harder than walking!
Our albergues tonight is really nice and only 7€. Tough to beat!
